Fahrenheit 451 - 10/08/14

     Just from the title of the book I could tell that the book was going to be boring. What does "Fahrenheit 451" even mean? Only being 17 pages in, I have know idea. I would like to think it is just a temperature, but that would be to simple. 

     Not only is the title of "Fahrenheit 451"  boring, the cover is to. Who picks a purple and orange color scheme for a book they want people to be interested in. The picture is eve worse. An old foggy picture of a book on fire and a pheonix. The quality of the photo is dodo. But it is sort of interesting , that's about the only thing that is appealing to me. 

    Although, I'm only a few pages into the book I think the book is about opposing authority and doing what you want even though it's against the rules. It sorta reminds me of the hunger games books. A fairy tale world with people in it who aren't afraid to do different  than what society says. 

   

    Even though it may seem like I already have a negative view on the book, I will continue to read with an open mind. Because I really want this book to be good, I want to enjoy reading it. I don't want to be bore for a unit of English.
