If loving you is wrong is a great and entertaining show. It reminds me of ABC's Desperate Housewives. The story line and the over acting almost mimics each other. I almost gave up on Tyler Perry because of his movies, they are filled with black stereotypes and mindless comedy. The first few movies that were more on the serious side were good they had a message. I feel like the more mainstream his movies got the more Tyler Perry decided to focus on being funny and outrageous. Thats why I like Spike Lee's movies better than Perry's because he didn't loose his massage through fame.
I wonder how people write TV shows and movies. (screenwriters must have gotten 100's on their essays). Where do the ideas come from, what do they know is good.
For the last two week I have been overwhelmed with work from my internship with Capital One. I was given a budgeting project in august. I had to create a life for a Investment banker, get him into a deficit ,and then budget him out of one. My partner Aaliyah and I decided to call our family the Stewart Family. The family consisted of Brandon(the investment banker), Marcia(his wife), Christopher(his son),and Andrew( his youngest son). They lived in the Hamptons and commuted into Manhattan everyday for work. Planning out what they spend a month was simple(they spend $100 on clothes, $2,000 on mortgage etc.). Were we came into trouble was how much an investment banker in new York really makes. My mangers at Capital One believed that investment bankers mad a lot more then what our group was saying. But according to the internet investment bankers made a lot less than what was depicted on "The wolf of wall street" even though i haven't seen the movie I thought it was about the people on wall street.
Another problem my group ran into was time management. As i stated before we were given the project in August . It seemed easy because we had a lot of time to do complete it, well it was easy, until school started. I had no time to actually work on the project and school work. So I stopped working on it until there was only two weeks left till the due date. I worked literally all day and night on the project. I think the final product came out good. I think my group did a great job. But we lost, to Shaleena's group. Congrats to her!!!
