I really admire people that can flawlessly do their nails. Bubble less nails and intricate designs are hard for me to achieve. But every weekend I try to recreate different nail designs, sometimes it ends in success and other times failure. I try to improve my nail doing techniques by watching YouTube videos and practicing different techniques. I mostly buy Essie and Sally Hansen nail polish because they are long lasting ( I hate having to redo my nails during the middle of the week). The nail art design polishes and pens are usually cheap because those don't really matter. One technique that I think I will never get, is Ombre. Ombre NEVER works for me and I end up wasting a lot of nail polish and sponges when I try to do it.
I like nails and doing them so much, I thought about opening up a nail salon with my sister. It would be the most posh, chic, and urban nail salon you would ever go to. We also would hold more services then just nails, massages, make-up, and more. But that's just a thought I don't know what I want to do.
My favorite nail colors are usually light purples, grays, and blues. I rarely ever buy dark colors, I own a few but I barely wear them. They make my hands look dark and when it starts to chip it is more noticeable then light the light colors.
